Defending Religious Freedom in South Africa
WHO ARE WE
The South African Church Defenders (SACD) is a non-partisan Christian advocacy movement that defends the Church’s spiritual and constitutional freedoms.
We respond to threats including regulatory overreach, unconstitutional legislation, and the marginalisation of Spirit-led ministries.
SACD believes in accountability, not control, and upholds the right of every church to worship and operate freely within the framework of our democracy.
Protecting Church Autonomy
The South African Church Defenders is a coalition of pastors, leaders, and believers committed to defending the Church against all threats — including regulatory overreach, public policy misrepresentation, and infringement on spiritual liberties. We advocate for accountability, not control.
