Defending the Faith. Protecting the Believers.
At the South African Church Defenders (SACD), we stand firm for every Christian’s right to worship freely and live out their faith without fear or discrimination. Across South Africa, many believers have been mocked, censored, suspended, or publicly shamed simply for standing on biblical truth.
SACD exists to protect, represent, and defend those whose faith has become a target.
Christian Rights Protection
Defending the constitutional right of every believer to live and express their faith without fear or discrimination.

SACD is committed to defending the rights, dignity, and freedom of Christians through advocacy, legal guidance, and public representation. We stand in the gap for pastors, churches, and believers who are targeted or silenced because of their faith.
What We Do
-
Advocacy & Awareness: We raise the voice of the Church in public spaces, ensuring that Christian values are respected and protected under the Constitution.
-
Representation: We offer support and representation for individuals or organizations facing faith-based discrimination or defamation.
-
Legal Support: Through partnerships with faith-based legal networks and advisors, we assist in challenging unfair treatment and restoring justice.
-
Documentation & Reporting: We record and report cases of religious intolerance to help strengthen the national defense of religious freedom.
Our Constitutional Stand
South Africa’s Constitution guarantees Freedom of Religion (Section 15).
SACD exists to make sure that this right is upheld, not undermined.
Every Christian deserves the liberty to believe, preach, and live out their faith without fear.
