The South African Church Defenders (SACD) hosted a powerful Pastors & Leaders National Breakfast Meeting that became a historic moment for faith leaders in South Africa. Pastors, bishops, and church leaders from across the nation gathered in unity to defend the freedom of the Church and confront the growing threat of unconstitutional regulation.
Exposing the Threat
The meeting addressed the growing danger of state interference in the Church, highlighting statements from the so-called Section 22 Committee led by Prof. Xulu, which openly declared:
“We will regulate you whether you like it or not.”
This agenda, SACD leaders warned, seeks to silence miracles, regulate preaching, and undermine the foundation of the Gospel in South Africa.
Pastor Mukhuba’s Stirring Message: “Goliath Must Come Down!”
One of the meeting’s most powerful moments came when Pastor Mukhuba addressed the assembly. Her message was both a warning and a rallying cry:
“We cannot allow the Church to be destroyed in our time. If we remain silent, our children and grandchildren will carry the battles we failed to fight. No more fear. Goliath must come down. Never again shall we keep quiet!”
Her words resonated deeply, urging the Church to face the giants threatening its freedom without fear or compromise.

A United Front of Faith
The event was marked by unity and conviction, with respected voices such as Archbishop Dr Bouwer and many other servants of God standing side by side with Pastor Mukhuba. Together, they proclaimed that the Church must remain free from unconstitutional control.
The spirit of the gathering was summed up in SACD’s declaration:
We will contend for the faith.
We will not allow unconstitutional regulation.
We will stand as the shield of the Church in this generation.

Leaders Standing Boldly for the Gospel
The SACD expressed gratitude to Archbishop Dr Bouwer, Pastor Mukhuba, and every leader who took a stand at the meeting. Their presence was a testament to courage and a commitment to defend the future of the Church in South Africa.
A Declaration for the Nation
The Pastors & Leaders Breakfast Meeting was more than just a gathering — it was a prophetic declaration that the Church will not bow to unconstitutional pressure.
The South African Church Defenders remain steadfast in their mission:
For Christ. For Freedom. For The Church.
As the SACD continues its work, this event serves as a powerful reminder that every believer, pastor, and leader has a role to play. The Church must rise together and proclaim: Never Again!
